Weggy Winery is the creation of Oak Ridge Vineyard, which started planting cold hardy grape vines in 1992. Our commitment to growing wine grapes has evolved to over 11,000 vines.

The Winery is located just two miles north of the beautiful Lower Wisconsin River Valley, known for picturesque river sand bars and relaxing canoe trips. The 80-acre property is an awesome site for anyone wanting to explore the grandeur of a true Wisconsin Vineyard. Tram tours take guests around the 80-acre parcel every Saturday, Sunday and summer holiday. Reservations are requested. On the tour, guests will see over 16 acres of maturing grape vines containing over 30 different varieties. Guests will visit 16 acres of orchard trees of apples, peaches, Asian pears and cherries all available as they ripen for the public; some to pick and most to purchase for their enjoyment. After touring the land, guests can stop by the Weggy Winery for some wine tasting and souvenir shopping.
Weggy Winery is open daily during the season and offers convenient hours. Stop in, wine-tasting is available. We have samples of all our wines grown and produced on the property; including flavors from robust reds to light and fruity whites. The proprietor's choice, Oakey Red, has been aged in American oak barrels to enhance the aroma and Oak flavor. Rich Brown, a local wine connoisseur comments, "The wine produced at Weggy Winery is superb, some would not expect a grape grown locally in Wisconsin to taste so rich and full."
